Great location, close to the Ferry terminal, train station and bus station. However, it's a pretty crappy hostel. I had a sink in my room but no running water, and the communal bathroom was pretty small. For a night or 2, it's fine, but for a longer stay, you might be happier somewhere else!

the hostel is very good, breakfast included. But the shower didn't work so good, cause you have to keep up the pitorrit or txirimbol of the water up with one hand, and with the other one shower yourself. pd im not spanish. LANDER from Basque Country

Das Hotel war dreckig, Matrazen waren versifft, Zimmer war sehr unsauber! Auf Reklamation wurde uns angedroht geld zurück und rausschmiss! Wirt war sehr frech hat unsere Bedenken missachtet! War der meinung für 36 Euro die Nacht können wir nichts anderes erwarten! 2 Duschen für circa 60 leute, WC auf dem Flur auch nur 4 WC für die ganze Masse an Leuten! Haben 2 Zimmer gebucht und nur eins bekommen, schob die Schuld auf uns, wäre angeblich unser Fehler gewesen!

I think this is one of the worst place I have evr stayed & wouldn't recommend to anybody. The staff was not co-operative , the rooms are not worth the money they charge

It is an old but clean building ,close to the city center. The breakfast was good and the rooms were spacious but you will not have many chances to make new friends

There was a problem with confirmation of payment for finnish ambasade. I was asking by e-mail whole week to send me it. And only my phone call in the last day solved the problem.

Lönnrot is old and worn, so tell the guests not to expect any kind of modern facilities.
The rooms should be arranged more practical.
