This isn't that incredible, awesome, trip-making hostel of legend, but it is a darn good place to stay. Clean, staff friendly enough, breakfast provided if not inclusive, towels and sheets included in the cost. For me, the quiet hours were a nice addition I like being able to sleep a night through. Location's also good. While it's not in the city center direct, it's only a mile or 2.5 kilometers a nice walk if the weather's good. Overall it was a great stay and I'd recommend it. One morning there was a maintenance of the hot water supply between 7:30 and 11 o'clock. If this maintanance was planned before, why did they chose this special time frame where everybody wants to have a shower. A timeframe between 11 and 17 o'clock would have been better. Hostel is situated not far from the historical center. It took only 20 minutes to get there on foot. Front desk persons were very nice and helpful. Rooms also were ok. Of course it would be better if there was internet not only in caffeteria room, but in guests' rooms too. What I don't like is that it was always dirty in the bathrooms and shower.Housekeeper was rude and noisy. He used vacuum cleaner to clean tables in dining room and to clean the floor the same time, even while we were eating Antonida, from Russia ~ 12th Jan 2012

I stayed briefly but it was a nice place to kick it for the night! I'd recommend it to anyone travelling to Helsinki. It's also kind of neat to say you stayed at the Olympic Stadium there... Rayelle, from Canada ~ 8th Jan 2012

The hostel was clean and well-maintained. It had some nice features: a place to gather, play games, and use the internet a small kitchen and dining area several lounge areas and open space in dormatory/bunkbed rooms. It was a very nice place the only bad part was the second floor showers. They seemed to have a good amount of mold on them. But the first floor was quite nice.
