We got a double bed room with our own bathroom. The bathroom was pretty tight but it was nice to have our own. The staff wasn't too friendly especially when it came to breakfast. One thing that really pissed me off was that when we received our $100 deposit back, they gave me a fake bill from the guy's own wallet. I should have checked when I got it. I didn't realize it was fake till I got to the airport and it was too late. So, there goes my money. I would never suggest this place to anyone. Joshua, from USA ~ 24th Jan 2012

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were decent and rooms were very nice! Location is close to subways and busses. The first few nights had somewhat of a party atmosphere, but then and older crowd showed up and the receptionist put an end to drinking into the night... Amanda, from USA ~ 17th Jan 2012

Loved it here. A great location. Great staff and met lots of really nice people here. It's a popular hostel for backpackers and if you are travelling alone as I was, an ideal place to meet new people. Lots of activities provided by the hostel too. Cain, from England ~ 15th Nov 2011

The staff at Hostel Inn Palermo is outstanding. Their recomendations were outstanding and the social activities were super fun. But most of all the staff could take a joke and dish them out which made hanging out in the hostel good fun. Lee, from USA ~ 18th Sep 2011

Most of the staff are quite friendly. Unfortunately, that is the limit of this hostels good qualities. I was there in the winter so it was cold, the heat is virtually non-functional and it was very uncomfortable. There was also a dog right outside my window that barked 24/7. They tried to fix the heat to no avail and were unwilling to move me to a new room despite the fact that I stayed for 8 days. Additionally, this is the noisiest hostel I have ever stayed in.
