Very hospitable, I accidentally booked the wrong day and through a series of twists ended up in a private suite on the right day. Can't say my stay was average... But Dan made it work, otherwise I wouldn't have had a place to sleep. Shawn, from USA ~ 17th Oct 2011

The staff was friendly, and though we had plans for the weekend, they immediately told us about the events they had planned including a pub crawl. Even the people in our room were nice. I would def stay there again, especially since it's in a perfect location! Emily, from Canada ~ 3rd Oct 2011

I had a little problem with people coming in at all times of night, but I have to say that meeting different people each day from all over the world made the stay worth the while. The staff works hard at a difficult job and after two weeks I wanted to stay longer. Gary, from USA ~ 31st Aug 2011

it was not possible to lock the room, which makes it potentially a bit unsafe Markus, from Germany ~ 19th Aug 2011

Really poor breakfast and unpunctual. Only one brick of milk and some bread (with "nothing" or just butter) for all the guests (more than 20). Elisa, from Spain ~ 9th Aug 2011

The highlight of this hostel is it's location: smack dab in the middle of a lively stretch of the Latin Quarter (nice for walking & exploring). Very friendly staff... but we were amazed at how quiet and, well, boring Le Jazz turned out to be. Not much guest camaraderie, "breakfast" was laughable, and dorms were just that.
