it's just a small place with only 2 toilets and showers per floor. It's not very clean and the smell is not very pleasant. I have been in much better places for that price.

I stayed in a 6 bedroom dormitory. The bathrooms were on the same floor, and quite clean, although very tiny. Not a lot of facilities, but decent.

I was only there for a place to get over jet leg before moving on through the rest of italy, but the staffwas cool the place was clean, and I would go there again if I need another hostel.

Wonderful experience, really my money's worth! One suggestion: graveyard manager should try to speak more softly to noisy resident night owls when coming back to roost :). Hope to go back there again.

The lift did not workwhich meant suitcases had to be carried up flight of stairs. The breakfast room was very crowdedand needed upgrading.

Apalling. Overpriced and blankets smelt. Not enough toilets and showers for number of guests and rooms below basic. Moved out as soon as possible.

Location is excellent and the staff were nice but the rooms (dorms) are pretty minimal. For an extra 5 euro i could have stayed in a 3 share with aircon, tv, and nice furnishings so choose room carefully. Doonas were pretty smelly too. The bathroom on our level didnt work either, so I had to go downstairs to shower.

This place was a dump. we couldnt even stay here and although we had already paid for our night, after seeing the horrible, dirty, dusty, hot, no AC room, we left and stayed at a hotel.
This is the worst hostel I have ever seen or even imagined. Do not recommend this place to anyone you want to have repeat relationship with. Worst place ever.

we had a verry nice time in rome and at de M&J hostel. altough there where too few toilettes and showers for the people who slept in M&J hostel. there was need for an extra bathroom.
