I would like to say that the location of the hostel is excellent, near the underground and near the "quartier latin" at foot, however the room and the bathroom were very dirt and we didn't have a blanket to sleep in November!!

6 people dorm is too small. I don't know where to put the wet umbrella. It's better to have a table. One cannot sit straight in the lower portion of a bunker bed. The shower space is small too. It' s difficult to turn around.

We booked the hostel but then the room we booked was not available and we were "upgrated" to a hotel room in the same building. So we cannot really say how the hostel rooms would have been like. But we have seen a cockroach in the hostel kitchen. The general impression of the hostel/hotel was rather good and the location also very central!

The hostel isnt a hostel and so noone knows where it is if you say you are staying at Montreal Backpackers. Its a nice place but if you want to meet people you will be lucky to as there is only 20 beds available in dorm rooms - total! so you will need to be lucky to get a good crowd. I was lucky. the staff are friendly and helpful. id not stay there again if i go back to montreal by myself but if i have atleast one other person i will

One of the employees of the hostel was pretty rude to me when I asked about storing my luggage. For the disrespectful way I was treated I will not recommed your hotel/hostel to anybody.
