Nice location, lot`s of people. I was surprised that the room we were at had an open space to outside. So the temperature was the same as outside... pretty cold. Blankets were very warm though! Nella, from Finland ~ 15th Jan 2012

This is a difficult hostel to rate, because the price is so cheap. I stayed in a dorm for $10 per night. However, the shower and bathroom facilities were very ordinary, and it was a bit noisy at night. Pirwa was everything I could possibly have asked for in a hostel. It had tons of character, I felt as though I was a house guest rather than a paying customer. The Pirwa staff managed to accommodate all 10 of my friends in the same room, most of the time by ourselves, as well as ensuring we had somewhere to stow our things while we hiked the Inca Trail.
