very helpful staff, lovely clean rooms and bathroom (we had a double with private bathroom) and great shower. Can recommend. However you can also find much cheaper places in town if you just show up (hostels that are not on the internet). petra, from South Africa ~ 16th Oct 2009

NO HOT WATER! I was so bummed after walking around machu picchu. Good location next to Aguas Calientes, and really no hostel is in a bad spot. Aguas calientes is small. The "hot springs" that the hostel is next to are just dirty warm pools, but worth bathing where Incans bathed. RIGHT NEXT TO GOVINDA's!! AN AMAZING VEGGIE PLACE. Jenny, from USA ~ 28th Sep 2009

Este hostel é horrivel! O pessoal me atendeu bem na má vontade, o dormitório não tem lockers e o banheiro estava sujo pra caramba ... o banho saiu na marra, odiei ficar aqui ... a localização é boa, mas qualquer lugar é bem localizado, Aguas Calientes é super pequena ... não recomendo mesmo. On the website, the hostel sounded really okay so I was really disappointed and would not recommend the hostel to anybody. I had to ask the staff to change my sheets as they were full of hair and was not changed!!!!! For dorms, there is only one bathroom with toilet which is really tiny and dirty.
