PLUS Camping Michelangelo in Collegeville, Italia

I had stayed here before on a previous backpacking trip and loved it. This time, not so much. It's a good way to save some money over much more expensive stuff in town but the noise was insane! I'm a pretty easy sleeper but even being somewhat far away from the outside night club (next door) and the patio where they serve food and drinks (until 2am or so) and with ear plugs I just couldn't sleep. We would be a lot happier if the tent given to us was a little closer to the shower stalls and the bathrooms. The path to the entrance was uphill about a quarter mile from it, but it felt like a mile when we had to walk uphill with our heavy backpacks. Stayed one night without a shower not to bother climb the hill. But the other factors were great. I lost a very important book in the tent. Awesome place. Located in a beautiful area with an amazing view! I felt super at home here and chilled at the deck-bar every night. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Also they randomly charged me less that I had originally booked it for! So i payed about 9 euro a night. My favorite place so far! Jamie, from USA ~ 18th Jun 2011
