I strongly recommend this hostel. Located in central madrid, you can visit the whole city by feet. Many pubs and dicotheques are within few minutes. Rooms are very clean and have air condition.
I didn't really appreciate the breakfast, but a Strabucks is situated just in front of the hostel.

The hostel was clean, the staff was friendly enough, and you can't beat the location - right off the Puerta del Sol.
The showers were kinds of small, and the internet was kind of spotty (and there was only computer), it's it's a good place to crash and meet people. Bring your own towel if u can.

Clean, well-kept, but there is absolutely nothing to do in the hostel. Aside from using ones own room as a common room, the only other option is the computer room which is barely a foyer. Far too small.
And skip the pub crawl. I dont know that the hostel actually has something to do with it or not, but they promote it and it is not worth 10 euro. Not even close....
Aside from that, its a pretty decent place.

the single room is actually a bedroom that has been converted, but you still walk past the rest of the house that is still used by the owner´s family, which is kind of weird, ie. we had to walk through the room where his dad was watching tv. otherwise a professionally run hostel with good location. the breakfast served was pretty good!
