Near to the train station and some restaurants and supermarkets. Florence is a small town, so you can walk to the Ponte Vecchio, for example. The rooms of the Residenza are big and clean, don't have breakfast and staff are not there all the time. It has a good security and has wi-fi, but in some rooms don't work. Bella stanza, comodissima location, appena fuori da FS SMN,poco dietro alla piazza. Gli unici handicap sono piuttosto relativi per la verità e non riguardano specificamente la residenza: la tassa extra di soggiorno -di Renzi, non colpa della residenza- il prezzo leggermente alto per non avere la colazione -i b&b a Firenze costano d'altronde più o meno tutti uguali quasi a cartello-. L'unica vera pecca forse è il livello del riscaldamento che potrebbe essere alzato. Comunque giudizio buono Iacopo, from Italy ~ 3rd Jan 2012

The location was good. 1min walk to main station, the owner was checking on us every now and then making us feeling uncomfortable. Accusing us of smoking in the rooms, and insisted he had been called by the police about fire alarms going off when there are no fire alarms in the room.Overall was nice accommodation, pity about the staff. it was more like a hotel than a hostel to me. only 2 people in a room,with murals on the ceiling. bathroom in the room - very nice and clean. rooms were cleaned every day. only 2 minutes from railway station, 5 minutes from the river with bridges and 7-10 minutes from the Duomo. but nights were noisy because of traffic outside, so I had to use ear plugs. in the end - i am very content with this place Maryna, from Ukraine ~ 14th Aug 2011

Great little hostel.The place was like a hotel, but with the necessary multiple person feel.The guy (even though we showed up earlier than check-in), moved our luggage into our rooms for us when we returned.Our particular view showed us the Duomo and that was a plus, but we weren't allowed to open the windows if we wanted to keep the AC on which we had no control over.The nice 12' plus ceilings were great and decorative.The manager was a bit... off.Accused us of having more than two people whe Tyler, from USA ~ 18th Aug 2011
