What a trip!!! You should hold on to the sisters that run the place. The are well fun! you may end up changing beds more than once but it's all good. They run a clean fun place and easy to meet people kinda place.

Sylvia, the girl who runs the hostel, is incredibly helpful and enthusiastic (but not annoyingly so). She works all hours and gets up at all hours to make sure people catch earlier morning/late night taxis and trains. She also gives you a really good overview of the town when you arrive and organises a number of trips for genuinely cheap prices, all running directly from the hostel itself. Make sure you go bear watching, it costs nothing and you end up a few metres from them - we saw 3 or 4 befo

BEWARE of single rooms. They are farrrrr away and in a characterless building on the 10th floor WITHOUT a working elevator!
Breakfest, internet and everything else is about a 30min walk to hostel.
Hostel staff is shady and should more up front about this.
I would never ever recommend this to anyone. Go somewhere else if you can!

Girl was a real character! We were placed in a room with 15 beds but at least they weren't bunks and weren't full at the time! Pool has bikes in it at the moment. Doing some building work but that's life - didn't bother us. Otherwise, everything was good.

Brasov is tricky. Centrally near the station is far off from where you really want to be - which is the old town. This hostel lies a short walking distance (<10min) away from the old town centre. They organise a great trip to the Bran (Dracula) castle and the king's former summer residence and it's fun. Downsides are: toilet doesn't flush paper (use bin), doors and floors are squeaky (so bring ear plugs if you go to bed early) and plan enough time in the morning because there are only two bathro

Location, Staff, Security were all great. Generally the cleanliness appears to be good but noticed when other people in the room checked out the linen was not changed. The bed was just remade again with the same linen. Could have been an oversight or something I suppose. Also the tour they arranged was excellent and good value for the money.

The reception is fantastic. You may find it strange at first because the first thing they ask you is to take off your shoes entering the hostel but after that you'll be amazed with the way they make you feel at home. The rooms were very nice, common room and kitchen also. The bathroms were ok but very few. Staff was great, Sylvia was great! She seems like your long time friend!! We recommend the bear watching at night. If you have short time to visit, take the payed tours but if you are ok with
