The owner and staff were very accommodating. The adjacent restaurant, Treehouse, served some of the freshest and tastiest food on our trip to Peru. If you cannot stay here I recommend eating at least one meal st the Treehouse. Julie, from USA ~ 3rd Nov 2009

The hostel staff knew we would leave for a day trip to Machu Picchu early the next morning after check-in. One girl of our group however got sick and stayed at home and this is how we found out that one of the male staff entered our room in the dark at 6:30am (we left at about 5:30am). As soon as she questioned him he left the room. We later confronted the hostel but they only came up with excuses and were inconsistend with one another. We then left the hostel on the same day. The woman at the desk was incredibly warm and helpful, and when our alarm broke even gave us a wakeup knock to make sure that we´d get onto the first bus to Machu Picchu. It´s one of the more expensive places that we stayed at, but the beautiful rooms and unique character were more than worth it. Jacob, from USA ~ 24th Mar 2009
