Hostel gives hookah smoke and aims to increase revenue by selling fish bowl alcohol bevies to make money. nice for us smoking and drinking, not great for one girl who was so smashed, one of the men working there ripped her pants while trying to force her sexually. Dont indulge if you are single female traveller!! Otherwise location is close to sites but only 2 joint toilet/bathrooms. Hard to access when rooms are full. Breakfast nice. Thanks for Host's kindness. This Hostel's location is located behind Hagia Sophia. However, a private bathroom is Not in the single room. Great location, the owner speaks English, but the staff isn't quite fluent, but no problems. Noisy street, fun for all the activity going on. The owner will recommend anything you need, Turkish bath, laundry, shopping, and he's learning to play guitar and may practice if it's not too busy. Room was clean and fairly comfy. the location is excellent,but the whole hostel is very tiny-the rooms are quite a goos size,but the corridor is really too small.i did not like the terrace-the view was fine but you had to sit on the floor.during the night it was very nosy from all the clubs around the hostel.for one night it was o.k.and the staff was very helpfull-thank you. regina, from Switzerland ~ 7th May 2009

Hi We stayed here with our 1 year old baby and had a great time! We were very well taken care for and the staff was very friendly and thoughtful. The three of us slept well and the breakfasts were superb! Excellent hospitality! What a pleasure. Will most certainly recommend to others. Couldn't be any closer to the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. Sultanahmet tram station really close by. Ever helpful, caring and pleasant Manager Dagistan who could speak good english. Made all the difference. Warm room with clean white sheets. Very hot water in spacious bathroom. Dugastan is fantastic, he makes everyone very welcome, and amazing breakfasts, even after drinking with us all night! I only booked one night, and stayed for four. The hostel is warm and friendly with a great rooftop bar open all day. Nicole, from Australia ~ 29th Jan 2009
