This is a great histel at a good price. The cleaning could be better but that's not to say it's filthy-some sweeping of the rooms would be nice. Location couldn't be better although those steps from the Metro are a killer. All in all recommendale.

All in all I was very happy staying here - nice breakfast, free internet, close to metro, friendly staff... when I noted to them in the morning the toilet in my room didn't work, it was fixed by the evening. I just wasn't impressed by the bathroom - I can handle small but moisture and mould is harder. I do have to say that my friend was in another room and didn't have any of that. Still, I would definately go back.

Very small pokey kitchen which clearly isn't kept clean and the shower in my room was hanging by a shower rail clip - come on Caulincourt - for such a great location and a place with character, this isn't good enough.

Great hostel, awesome area of paris. Close to the metro, walking distance from Sacre Coeur and great views over the outskirts of paris from the front door. A really cool place--we were there 6 nights and I'd definitely go back again! That said, there's no place to lock up things in the rooms so be careful what you leave there.

The directions to the place are a bit inaccurate.
After getting out of the metro and climbing the stairs, you take a right *for about five minutes*. It's not right at the top, which confused me for a bit.
The staff was pretty nice, tho I found the room a bit cramped; I'm also a bit more used to several-people room having lockers, but I do not know how common that is? The free breakfast is ftw.

I thought this hostel was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the area is breathtakingly beautiful. I had an amazing view from my room. The breakfast was great (and quite Parisian). Everything was surprisingly clean and well-kept. My door card worked, and free internet/wifi is rare in Paris. A+
