honestly the place was great and location great. we felt safe and it was clean. BUT it was one of my worst hostel experiences b.c there was noone at a front desk to welcome us or make us feel welcome, to give us info for what to do. There was no toilet paper or soap in the bathroom when we arrived. We had to ask for it. Thwere was NO hot water in the showers either. and only 3 of the little lights.. out of 8... in our chandelier worked.

It is a restaurant first and a hostel second. The staff make you wait if the restaurant is busy, other than that I thought it was ok.

We stayed in a private room the first night and then in a 8 bed dorm the second night. The private room had really uncomfortable beds and only one toilet and shower for the whole floor and was also VERY noisy. The curtains had also been ripped down from the window and we had to improvise window-coverings with towels. The second night in the dorm was actually better, the beds were actually comfortable and there were enough bathroom facilities for the guests. We did get free beer when we che

The owner was very nice. The bathrooms were very clean. The rooms left a little to be desired, but not bad for a hostel. It was a little noisy outside until late in the night. The location was perfect. I would recommend it.

After having read other travellers' ratings we didn't expect too much of the hostel but were positively surprised upon arrival. Having booked a private room, we were at a different location than people in mixed-dorm-rooms. Our room was very spacious, even with an additional bed. The facility seems to have been renovated very recently and everything was brand-new. Amazingly huge bathroom and breakfast-coupons for a small bar/cafe next door.
