One of those hostels run by backpackers gives you that little extra. Nice room for chill out equipped with TV DVD Playstation etc. Easygoing and very helpful staff.

Really great place, up in the mountains, excellent hiking, or just nice to sit around and look at the High Tatra Mts. Everyone is very friendly and relaxed, fun barbeque and pizza nights. Great chill out place!

An excellent hostel, beautiful views with a homely feel. Extremely comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities. Jim and Ritchie are great guys who were willing to do anything to make our stay more enjoyable. We will definitely be back in the future.

We woke up every morning to a brilliant sunrise over twin peaks, and gathered our things for another epic ski day. But that wasn't the best part about the Ginger Monkey. They best part, far and away, was Jimbo and Richie (and wally) -- the amicable, friendly and all around outstanding hosts (and singers) who make this the best hostel I have ever visited. Cheers!
