I really enjoyed my stay at the Midland Youth Hostel. Very frienly and social place. Central location in good walking distance to almost everywhere in the city. The only downside: very busy road underneath the window if you are sensitive to noise.

Absolutely the best place to stay in Bucharest, hands down! The location could not be better, it is right outside of the historic old town, within a 5 minute walk of the palace, and in walking distance of anything you would want to see. If that is too much for you there is a metro and bus stop right outside, but you won't need it. The staff are awesome and go out of their way to make sure that you get the most out of Bucharest. the owner, is one of the most laid back people we've ever met
kristoff and madelaine were extremely friendly and helpful at the reception, suggesting restaurants, places to visit, discos, pubs etc.

This hostel is clean, comfortable and very central within the city. The staff are incredibly friendly, really cool guys. If you are looking for a Hostel in Bucharest this is the one!

Too noisy to get any sleep before 2 or 3 am every night!
The primary reason to stay in a hostel is to have a bed and roof to sleep at night. This is hardly possible here.
Been here 3 nights, could not sleep at all from all the loud music and talking. Gets annoying after a couple of sleepless nights.
