great location--right off the central square, but at the same time not too noisy, the room was facing a courtyard. Shared showers are fairly private (ie you can lock yourself in a shower+toilet unit and no one else will be there). The water in the shower sometimes goes off or randomly changes temperature depending on who else is using a shower in the building. I also had a problem with their bus company (shuttlebus) who confirmed my reservation to Vienna and then when I got there said that there

The hostel is not dirty, in fact it was very clean, however people smoking in the bar meant the smoke travelled all throughout the upstairs sections of the hostel.
