Extremely helpful staff, we booked all our tours with them and Helen and john would always find time to sort things out for you. Rooms were big for a 4 bed dorm you didn't feel like you were on topof everyone and Otis on the perfect location close enough to walk to everything but far enough away from the main pubs and clubs so it's quiet at night. Arguably the most professionally run hostel I've ever been to and they still manage to keep it fun and friendly. They are extremely helpful in finding and booking tours and trips in and around Cairns. I recommend the Monday night BBQ as a way of meeting people from the hostel and their sister hostel. Shower availability can be difficult. Not enough showers for the many people that stay. Otherwise, one of the better hostels I've stayed at. Very kind and helpful people. Jason, from USA ~ 2nd Jan 2010

Dear Travellers, I would like to take the chance here to stress about the great efforts from stuff & management in Traveller Oasis as it's the best i've experience in Australia for a backpacker that has the lots. Me and my dad enjoyed our stay of 7 nights as staff are very friendly, funny and helpful. Plus it's very clean.
