It was a really nice hostel to stay at. Even though it was in a dodgy neighbourhood. It was close to shopping and restaurants. The kitchen facilities did not match the number of people using them. But the hostel were nice and clean, and the staff very friendly and helpfull.

Really nice hostel with good size dorm rooms in a handy location. The only comments that we would add are that the heating can be a bit erratic (the rad in our room couldn't be turned off all night) and although it says parking available it isn't. It is simply a 5 dollar reduced rate per day at one of the nearby garages.

Right of of Powell street where the cable cars run and excellent shopping, this hostel has some real character. From the lounge area downstairs to the lobby, its really easy to settle in here. Kitchen could use some work but its never that busy so there is always room to cook.

the hostel is ongoing reparation but still with "do it yourself" aspect. in comparaison with international hostelling downtown it looked definitivly a second choice only

I really enjoyed my stay in a private room. There was LOTS of noise at night; I believe we were right next to or over top of a night club. Other than that it was very satisfactory!

The only thing the place really lacks is a roof terrace or somesuch; security issues obviously provide an obstacle in that regard!
