Great location, just some steps from the Train Station. GREAT staff. Good breakfast. No internet. Ugly building. Decent rooms.

Very good hostel, best place I slept in for months!! NIce staff, clean room, was even cleaned during the stay, and wel priced. One thing that they probably should use an other taxi service to take customers to the airport, because their books showed around 45 euros, we had to pay 60 (including 5 euros for transport luggage???). I suggest they should have call a different taxicompany, not the rip off one they call now. To be clear, Its not the hostels fault, but I just want to inform them.

The hostel was nice on the inside, well equipt with internet, a kitchen and a great lounge but had alot of unfinished projects in the room and it was noisy. The location was close to the train station, but not a great area of the town.

The place was opposite the train station, my room had 2 showers and a toilet for 6 people, very convenient. Kitchen is basic, just a microwave and two bar fridges. Staff are helpful.

The atmosphere was very nice. The neiborhood is not so good, but the front was very helpful in pointing out the main attractions of the city. It was basically a very nice hostel, with wifi connection available for notebook users. however, cooking facility didn't have a stove, but otherwise plate/fork/cups/fridge was all there. this was the only hostel that was within close distance of the station in Marseilles, and overall i would recommend it to anyone.

Hostel Vertigo was one of the cleanest and most cosy hostels I've ever visitet, with a great kitchen (accept they didn't even have ha small stove so we could only eat fresh pasta cooked in the microwaveowen?) and a big nice "hangout-room". I really enjoyed my stay. Too bad it's located in France dirtiest and most unpleasent city. I will never return to marseille. But the hostel was safe, and just great!
