I loved Amsterdam and vita nova was part of that experience, my only complaint is that the room was a bit moist but we are on a boat so its normal, everything was clean and we liked it very much ;) Diogo, from Portugal ~ 29th Sep 2009

Private rooms with heaters are cozy, didn't get towels though. Rooms lock and have own keys. Delicious breakfast with great view of the bay upstairs, very friendly and helpful owners showed us what areas of town to go to. Quite place, Great stay, we're on a boat! Melissa, from USA ~ 21st Oct 2009

You cannot beat this hostel for character, value for money and location. The cabins are small, but who spends all their time in their cabin when they are in Amsterdam? :) You can sit on the deck and watch the sun set over Amsterdam. Breakfast is also really good. really nice little boat..very cheap for a private room really. definitely worth a stay but not if youre looking for amsterdams party heart or loads of activities/funloving new friends. breakfast was awesome and when my boyfriend fell ill they did all they could to help. lovely!
