smelly and not so easy to get to after dark. Pay the higher price to be in the pretty, scenic part of town. But then again, if you won't be out late at night, everything else is fine. The staff is super helpful and super friendly.

We were relocated to another hostel 10 min walk away. Once we found it, it was fine. Clean, secure, no frills, but did the job. For the price, it was good.

Old Soviet style dorm is a dorm no matter how you spin it. But, I will stay there again, I take function over style...
Good: location - 2min to subway, tram and 119 bus to/from airport (ticket on the bus). Only 2 subway stops to old parts. Huge building, probably always has rooms. WiFi (...the reception girl didn't know the password, asked to come back in the morning..)

We were a bit worried after some of the reviews posted here, but it was actually a decent place - not much character, but clean and secure, so it was good enough for us - the beds were comfy and the showers were hot, so... pretty good really.

The hostel is very nice, well located and clean. The drawback is that bathrooms don't have door lockers. This is quite inconviniente once men and women share the same bathrooms.
