Hotel Orfeo is a hostel / budget hotel located in the centre of Amsterdam in the "Leidseplein" area, which is filled with popular clubs, bars, restaurants and coffee shops.
Hostel Orefo is 500 meters away from the famous Dutch museums.
We provide
free internet access, kitchen use, free breakfast and no curfew in our hostel.
Unfortunately, we do not accept bookings for persons under 16 years of age or allow pets in the hostel. We accept cash only for payment on arrival.
Note: Prices do not include the 5% city tax and cancellation must occur 72 hours before the check-in date and for group bookings a week before check in date. Cancellation must be done by email.

There had been previous bad comments about this hostel but my experience was very different. The staff were very helpful and the hostel kept very clean. The location is excellent right near a lot of bars and restaurants. If I go back to amsterdam I'd definitely stay here again. Jason, from South Africa ~ 18th Mar 2010

Stay away from this hostel. There are so many other hostels in Amsterdam charging the same or less. I stayed in two separate rooms coz thez bumped me around to accommodate for other groups. One room, the heater didnt work. The other room, the heater has only one setting....HOT!!! Dont believe their breakfast. Stale everything. And internet is only in lobby and slow as a wounded lama.
