Turas-Mara Guest House in Ayr, Escocia

Jackie and Billy would like to extend a warm Scottish welcome to Turas-Mara. Their beautifully maintained Victorian villa is over 100 years old and situated 5 minutes from the town centre. It is 10 minutes by road or rail from Prestwick Airport and only a 5 minute walk from the railway station.

For the comfort of all our guests there is no smoking throughout the property.

We have a double room, twin room and triple room all the wih en-suite shower facilities, TV with DVD player and digital freeview, complimentary hospitality tray, hairdryer and many other extras to help you enjoy your stay. The triple room has a double and single bed but is large enough to accommodate a guest bed for a 4th person at an additonal charge of £15.00. Please advise us at time of booking so your reservation can be processed correctly.

Private parking at rear.

The dining room is located at the front and overlooks the garden. Our breakfast are cooked to order from our extensive menu. Where possible we use local suppliers and homemade produce. Breakfast is normally served from 08 00 to 09.00 (between 07.00 & 08.00 on request). If you are leaving before 07.00 a takeway picnic breakfast is available.

We do not mind waiting up for any guests who will arrive after 22.00 hours please let us know when booking and if applicable give your flight number.

Ideal base for golf with all South Ayrshire\'s finest golf courses on our doorstep including Royal Troon and Turnberry. We can arrange your golf package and can be upgraded to include transport, with airport transfers and packed lunches.

We can arrange cycle hire if you would like to see Ayrshire at a more leisurley pace and to keep the wheels turning you can order a packed lunch.

Centrally situated for the racecourse and Scottish Bowling Centre. Burns Country (Burns Cottage, Brig O\'Doon etc) are only 10 minutes by road.

Also within walking distance are the seafront and Gaiety Theatre and seafront.



We do not accept Hen or Stag Parties CANCELLATIONS Accepted up to 48hours before check-in time (15.30) without charge. If cancelled in breach of this 1st night is charged. In the case of no show the full booking is charged.
