At Mellow Eco-Hostel we understand how important is to reduce our environmental impacts and we have decided to take the challenge. We've already started taking measures to be as helpful as possible. Here we use renewal energy. Water of your shower is heated by our solar panels at the roof terrace. There's also recycling facilities, biodegradable cleaning products, soap dispensers, draught tap water and low-consumption bulbs.
Air conditioning is only in the common area. The rest of the house was built with the ideal orientation to facilitate natural ventilation. Everybody's single gesture to keep natural resources can make a huge difference; staying with us you will already do your bit.
We're located in a traditional neighbourhood surrounded by green areas fleeing from the city centre pollution and crowds but only at 15 minutes by tube. From our terrace you'll be able to contemplate the best panoramic sights of the city from a different point of view.
When the mind calls for some rest, turn off the lights and enjoy our spacious rooms provided with free individual lockers, clean linen and fresh towels. Prepare your clothes for new travels with our laundry service and experience Barcelona around the clock with our 24-hour reception. In Barcelona each dawn brings new and exciting adventures. I really liked the hostel, WIFI in the room, very clean, good view, calm place, BUT they don\'t have lockable lockers. They sell locks for 3eur to lock your locker (you can keep the lock). This was probably the only think I didn\'t like. Aleksej, from Lithuania ~ 13th Sep 2012
