Our cozy little private non-smoking art & antique hostel is mainly visited by students and young professionals is perfect for single travellers, who want to meet other people, as well as for young couples, who like the privacy of a romantic double-room.
Cozy Twin-rooms or triples are available for friends. Our 2 Dorms with 4 and 8 beds have individual beds, but no bunks. We have a common room for tea&coffee&breakfast with a table and 8 chairs and a common living room with cozy sofas, Wi-Fi & a Berlin library.
Groups or school-classes are not accepted.
We have no curfew, everyone gets own keys.
Laundry service available. 6kg for 6
Our building from 1897 still bears the marks of WWII, with bullet holes in the walls dating back to 1945.
We aim to provide a comfortable, romantic atmosphere for those who don't mind simplicity. Our plants and paintings give this place an atmosphere of an artist's home, ideal for gentle backpackers, brilliant students, world travellers, artists and explorers of culture, history and night-life.
We are LGBT-friendly! Musical instruments are welcome.
Everyone gets a free German beer or a fancy juice as welcome drink.
Magicians, belly dancers, musicians and singers get the seventh night for free, if performing for our guests.
This could be your sweet little home away from home.
We are in Moabit, in Central Berlin, in a multicultural, quiet, residential area, away from those trendy, expensive and overcrowded areas.
Here are a lot of students living.
Just 10 min. from the central station and 1 min. from the underground, which gets you anywhere.
Long-time stayers we
Our house has a share-house character, and is based on mutual politeness, as being quiet at night and leaving the kitchen spotless clean at any time. We prefer non-smokers as our guests, because we have no rooms for smoking. Even smoking in front of the house is not loved, when guests smoke and talk loudly in front of the door at late night, after 10 pm, and leave their cigaret-rests everywhere. The staff seemed to change daily, I was never sure who was a guest and who was a guest/staff member. The toilet and showers left much to be desired. My room needed hoovering and dusting. The location is near an U-Bahn station, fortunately, as there are nobars/supermarkets in the area. There also seemed to be quite a few flies around. Elizabeth, from England ~ 28th Sep 2012

When we arrived it seemed to be abandoned. A note says to call some tel numbrs if nobody open (one of them has a Greek prefix!!?):unreachable. After some time suddenly somebody opened. We discovered we had to pay extra money (no receipt) for no-reason approximate calculate, then pay for blankets and towels. (they aren\'t included in the price via web). The blankets smelt very bad, as the kitchen. Coming back by night I found out the door lock was broken. The shower was fine, yay me.... Marco, from Italy ~ 13th Sep 2012
