Bilbao Akelarre Hostel was the first private hostel in Bilbao since 2009 so we have a lot of experience. We offer a total of 38 beds in a hostel small and cosy enough to feel like home. Bilbao is a small city so you can walk everywhere!
We're just 20 minutes' walk from the Guggenheim, close from the universities, and 10 minutes from the New Bilbao, where you can find the Euskalduna Palace, Iberdrola's tower, Calatrava's bridge, Moneo's library, and even San Mames, Bilbao's football cathedral!
Our check out is until 12:00 a.m! and the breakfast from 8 - 10:30: fruit, cereal, bread, croassanes, muffins, chocolate, coffee and tea! If you go before 8 a.m we give ypu the breakfast to take away!
We are 24 hours in the reception in order to help ypu every time!

This is a new and funky hostel in an underexplored area of Bilbao, but still conveniently located by public transport. It is clean and the staff are friendly. It is quiet for a hostel, which made it possible to sleep well. I would stay there again. Scott, from Canada ~ 18th Jul 2012
