Caterina Hostel is a small friendly family hostel with privacy and a welcoming atmosphere. Renovations have just finished so this means the rooms, the beds, the showers, toilets and the kitchen are new, only our prices haven't changed!.
We are located in the traditional downtown of Budapest near popular 'Oktogon Square' and can offer you 1-6 bed separate rooms or 10-bed common dormitory rooms.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE KEEP OUR ADDRESS AND FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS TO THE CATERINA HOSTEL BECAUSE AT THE MOMENT YOU CAN FIND DIFFERENT DETAILS IN THE GUIDE BOOKS.
From the hostel to the West End, the Opera House, the City Center, the Danube, the Café Bars, and the Restaurants are just a few minutes walk. Accommodation can be provided for customers who need private shower,kitchen and toilet in apartments.
We have 2 x double bed room apartments maximum for 2 persons just 3 minutes away from the hostel
At the apartments breakfast is not included in the price!

We absolutely loved the hostel! It's on a perfect location, has more than polite staff and large rooms where you can really rest after a long day strolling around the city. It can be a bit noisy since it's near the street where tram passes, but if you're a real tourist - and it means (glad to be) exhausted in the evening, you wouldn't be really bothered by that. They serve decent little breakfast, you have a great new bathroom for yourself and staff is helpful about everything you might need. Katarina, from Serbia ~ 8th May 2013

This is definitely the place to stay if you\'re looking for the quieter crowd.However, with no real common space and a constantly hovering staff, it can get a little awkward if you want to let loose and relax.Additionally, everything is out in the open with no lockers and and an open courtyard.Also, you have to pay to keep your bags there after check out, which I have never had to do in any other hostel.
