Riverside Central Hostel in Budapeste, Hungria

At Riverside Hostel we strive to create the kind of homely environment where guests can feel at ease. In a spacious and light filled double apartment in one of the oldest buildings in Budapest, the hostel is welcoming and colourful, featuring artworks from local artists and furnished with locally handmade recycled designs.
Located in the centre of the city, just 3 minutes walk from the river and seconds away from the main transportation lines- its quick and easy to get anywhere you want to go.
Our staff are approachable, helpful and can recommend parts of the city to visit that are not described in tourist maps and guides. If you are particularly interested in the real underground of bohemian Budapest�s vibrant art, music and cultural scene, our staff can point you in the right direction. If you need anything else just ask! We are here to help and want to you enjoy your experience in the city.
We use only chemical free and biologically friendly cleaning materials and do our best to reduce waste in whatever way we can.
Our fully-equipped mama-style kitchen is for everybody�s use and we can show you where to buy locally grown organic produce. We have keyless entry for added security. The Wifi is free and we have a computer if you don�t. We also offer a laundry service-just ask!
To suit the needs of everyone, we offer budget dorm rooms for the shoe-string traveller, including one female dorm, and quiet and comfortable private rooms. This season we also have extra private rooms available in a beautiful apartment 5 minutes away from the Hostel- for those who prefer to explore independently.
Besides creating a great place for travellers to rest their heads, the crew at Riverside co-organise an ecological art gathering and music festival every year in August which is partly funded from the proceeds of the hostel.
