Taroko Gorge National Park, Liyu Lake and Hualien Ocean Park : 25 minutes by car
Hualien Train Station (Front Station) Exit-> Go straightly-> Cross 2 traffic lights-> Turn right at 海洋Hotel-> Turn left (at first intersection)->Turn right (at first intersection)-> Is-Life Minsu
Total duration: approx. 5~7 mins on foot

We had a lovely stay at Is-Life Minsu and found the hosts very kind and helpful. The Moon Festival was on during our stay and we were given a Pomelo (Taiwan fruit). Hualien is quite spread out, the location of the minsu is very handy to the train station (good maps are provided by the hosts to show how to reach the minsu (5-7 minutes walk) away. It is a 15-20 minutes walk to the golden triangle area. Guests should be aware that it is not a 24hr reception and arrival time needs to provided in adv Benjamine, from Australia ~ 2nd Oct 2012
