Welcome to Eliassen Rorbuer & Hostel - a holiday resort with fishermen's cabins & hostel rooms, enjoying the longest tradition in the tourist industry in Lofoten. We offer accommodation in the most beautiful western part of the Lofoten Islands - Hamnøy.
We have 19 renovated cabins and 5 rooms in our hostel. The genuine character and décor of the cabins and rooms remind visitors of their original use. Hostel is situated in over 100 years old \'landlord\'s house\' with following capacity: 1 single room, 3 double rooms and 1 twin room. We support also all facilities needed: bathroom with toilet and shower, 2nd toilet, fully equipped kitchen, loundery service, living room with cable Tv, 2 PCs\' with internett access, webcameras and headsets, as well as wireless in the whole resort for free.
Enjoy fantastic scenery, silence, midnight sun, northern light, storm or calm - the genuine Lofoten atmosphere. We rent motor- and rowing boats, bikes and outdoor grilling. We can organize for you sightseeing in Lofoten, adventure tours: mountain hikes, fishing boat trips, deep sea rafting, diving, surfing, kayak and biking tours.
We speak Norwegian, English, German, Polish and some Spanish. Welcome!

I loved this place! I lucked out and got room 2, which has a balcony to view the mountains. The kitchen is clean and large, as is the lounge room. The Internet computers are quite slow and loud, so you may want to bring your own laptop or smartphone. This is in a perfect part of the islands. Definitely try to hike up to Mt.
