islas 8817 Guesthouse is the second nearest hostel from all airport terminals in Manila.(1st Townhouse) We recommend you check the Google map and find that the guesthouse is only 15 minutes from the airport .The place is so convenient in case you will have to fly the next day. You can spend only 11 pesos using the public transportation and using the airport shuttle(FREE) which will bring you to your designated airport terminal. Since the place is near the airport you can have a quick good rest upon your arrival from long hours flight..

Banks - There are 4different banks 150 meters from the guesthouse namely China bank, Landbank, Union bank , and BPI--this is the bank , you can withdraw your cash using your cash card
Supermarket 3 Big supermarket 300 meters away namely Puregold and Lianas.
Drugstore Big and small drugstores are also near.
Convenient store Ministop and local variety store open 24 hours.
Hospital Olivares Hospital 8 pesosaway by public transportaion.

From Ninoy International Airport walk down to Sucat road where public transportation jeep going to sucat direction will cost 11 pesos get off at San Antonio Valley 2. Ministop convenience store is the corner street that leads to the guesthouse.
To take a taxi outside the airport will cost about 130 pesos. take the sucat road which is across ninoy international airport. Likewise if you came from centennial terminal 2 airport just take sucat road. Take note of the following landmarks: 1st you will see sucat SM department store, then a few blocks you will pass Mc Donalds, then Seven Eleven , Paranaque cable, PLDT, banco de Oro ,Landbank and then you will see
Entrance gate of San antonio valley 2. Entering this gate on the first corner is mni stop, turn right to this corner that leads to islas 8817 guesthouse or just ask for the house of the japanese at san juan street. just look for number 8817 on your left side with tall white steel gate.
Islas8817 guesthouse is located near International airports, Makati, Pasay Rotonda bus terminals which run also to and from Clark airport. Finally it takes only one FX ride to go to Super Ferry Pier near Manila Hotel.
Airport pick up is available by arrangement at minimum charge.

This hostel is not as close to the airport and the description leads you to believe... and if you need a blanket or sheet to cover yourself, be prepared to pay extra for it. Upon arrival I asked for a key for my dorm and staff thought I was crazy, then told me the lock is broken. Bed wasn't ready when I arrived at 2am w/ reservation. No lockers available, mosquito infested bathroom w/ leaking sink, dog that barked/growled at me when I tried to use the bathroom during the night. Room was dirty and seemed to be undergoing work. I was one of 2 ppl staying there in a location that felt isolated and insecure. Felt like someone's broken down home, not a guesthouse. Anna, from USA ~ 5th Apr 2013
