The best point of our hotel is to have a traditional size and it is centrally located (a half minute walk to the port, close to La Canebière). You will enjoy a pleasant stay after a day at work or a day trip.
You can access easily (by subway, bus, shuttle or boat) to the Calanques, to Notre Dame de la Garde or to the old famous Panier. Beside all touristic places to visit in the city center and around it, you will enjoy to go to the Catalan beach or diving at the Archipel du Frioul.
The top priority of Nicolas Guyot and his team is to welcome you personally in Carré Vieux Port Marseille.
The hotel offers high quality room standard with reasonable room prices. Our establishment has got the air-conditioning in all rooms, a free WiFi connection, a bar and 3 meeting rooms.
A receptionist or a night watchman will welcome you at any time.
Hotel Carré Vieux Port cares about every single detail such as the sobriety of the colors, the design, the best furniture quality and, obviously, a warm welcome to make you feel comfortable.
Within all rooms, you will notice private bathrooms, modern furniture and equipments such as flat TV screen high definition (satellite, canal+), direct phone line, radio stations, hair-dryer, twin or double bed and air-conditioning.
The breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10:00 but the room service is available til 11:00. You will appreciate a continental buffet with fresh French products like baguette with jam or butter, croissant, pain au chocolat, cheese, seasonal fruits and ham, eggs, yoghourt or cakes.
Please, note that the price does not include breakfast, 10€, and local taxes, 1€ extra per person and per day. We accept small animals for an extra charge of 5€.
Also, note that the lift is at the first floor so you have to walk up to the first floor (21 steps).

Taking a shower was awkward with the shower head they have, breakfast was alright but not great and marseille has good takeaway food. Lift was on first floor and getting heavy luggage up and down was awkward. Great hotel otherwise. Marco, from Australia ~ 5th Aug 2012
