Celvante Jungle Hostel, located on 25 acres of jungle just outside Puerto Jimenez, offers all the amenities of a typical hostel including dorm style accommodations, communal kitchen and living spaces, a full service bar and direct connection with local tours, activities and transportation. All the wildlife that the Osa Peninsula is famous for can be witnessed from the decks of each of our four-bed cabinas. The hostel is off-grid and features a number of sustainable technologies in action as well as an organic farm and hiking trails.
We offer a Free Shuttle twice daily, which leaves from the Cafe Monka (at the center of town next to the police station) at 11am and 5pm.
Free pancakes and coffee!
Wifi and bilingual staff!
And, most importantly, We book reservations and tours for corcovado national park!
Our hostel is located in the jungle, so we ask our guests to maintain an open mind about the plants, animals and general atmosphere that such an environment affords. Credit card services are unavailable, so please visit a bank in town and bring necessary cash.

Celvante is a little out of town but the owners organise a shuttle service. The hostel is in the jungle so you might see macaws or monkeys in the morning, while you bake your own pancakes (they provide free pancakemix). The owners are great and very helpful and the hostel is very clean (but don't mind the bugs, you're in the jungle remember D). I loved the chill atmosphere at it was a great place to organise my trip to Corcovado park. Go there!!! Sofie, from Belgium ~ 17th Apr 2013
