Welcome to the Flaming Kiwi.
We are situated 5 minutes walk to the town centre and 3 minutes walk to the supermarket.
We are a homely, friendly hostel with lots of free stuff for our guests to enjoy. Take out our free bikes for a cycle around the lake and Queenstown Gardens. Use our FREE UNLIMITED internet vouchers which are for both Wifi and our on-site computers. Our three fully equipped kitchens have a great layout for cooking and meeting other guests and they are all stocked with free tea & coffee. We also have a free spa, bbq, frisbees, games and DVDs.
Our rooms have personal lockers with built-in power points so you can charge your electronic gadgets in total security.
We can book all your buses, tours and activities and our friendly staff are more than happy to give you advice and information about the local area and the rest of New Zealand.

The place was absolutely great! The staff is more than helpful and friendly, they gladly help you with bookings and are always checking in if you're alright. The bathrooms are good, best showers we've had for 6 months. They clean the dorms daily, very thoroughly. They also have three clean kitchens with all the equipment you need. A big plus is the free wifi, the free bike hire and free calls home(!!). The hostel is located on a quiet street, yet only about 500 meters from the city. Recommended!
