Check in criteria:
We welcome guests from everywhere outside of San Francisco county. At check in, international guests must present a valid passport. US residents must present valid government issued identification (ie: driver’s license, state id card, passport). Guests may also be asked to present proof of onward travel. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Guests under 16 permitted only in private rooms unless an entire dorm is rented. Parents with young children must contact the hostel prior to booking. Please note that we try our best to keep people travelling together in the same room. However, sometimes due to availability and/or booking patterns, we may not be able to do so. If you have a special request concerning this, please email the hostel directly.

At check in, international/out-of-state guests must present a valid passport or out-of-state American driver's license. In state residents must present a valid college identification or valid passport along with a valid state ID (ie: drivers license). Guests may also be asked to present proof of onward travel. Check-in: 11am for dorms, 2pm for privates. Check-out: 10am. A refundable $10 security deposit per person is collected at check-in. Changes/cancellations may be made up to 6pm, California time, the day before arrival. Late cancellations/no-shows are charged the first night's accommodation. We try to ensure people traveling together are in the same room. However, due to availability and/or booking patterns, there is a slight chance parties booking dorm beds will be placed in separate rooms.
