Newly renovated, the Allen Lee has recently re-opened under new management. Most of the interior of the building has been re-painted and re-carpeted. The plaster and the plumbing have been repaired, and many rooms have all new furnishings. The telephone system has been updated, and Cable TV has been added. We welcome first-time visitors, and, if you have stayed with us before, we invite you to come back to experience a new and better version of the Allen Lee.

While booking the hotel, I looked at pictures from nice rooms. Not a wonderful hotel, but it looked clean and totally fair for the price. As we arrived, we get a very small room with a incredibly dirty bathroom. Seriously. I would prefer a clean bathroom, without hair from the people who used it before me and without mildew and dust (if the room has a heater: CLEAN IT!), than nice arranged towels.
