It is a plain Hostel in an old building near old town of Tallinn. The rooms have low standard, common lavatory on corridor. Staff was friendly and obliging. Rates correspond to fumishings.

There ware no sharp knifes available in the kitchen. One of the 2 showers was extremely uncomfortable. In one of the toilets there was no washbasin. We received very small towels. But these are all downsides. Everything else was just OK, so I can recommend this hostel.

With some more tools in the kitchen, employees less strange and some decorations, this place could be great !

Tatari seemed unwelcoming when we first arrived, and weren't that many other travellers there during our stay so it was hard to make friends and have fun. The sauna was broken and the kitchen is pretty under-equipped but we managed to make pasta so we didn't starve. The owners seem to be Russian - they can get by in English but if you're bilingual the older lady will be relieved, and go from non-commital desk clerk to caring babushka in about ten seconds!
