we had been given a flat instead- with kitchen and bathroom-very nice but very,very dirty!!!!

Very helpful staff. They cleaned our rooms everyday after we left. Pretty close to the centre. Overall a good place to stay.

The staff were friendly,in particular it really helped that one spoke good english and was very helpful in terms of going through places of interest on the map & how to get there etc. The only negative aspects are though that the room was very small, no breakfast (and for the amount paid i thought this might be included or at least available), and the hostel is located at the bottom of town - not a long walk to get anywhere but its not in the main area so feels abit isolated. The actual building and street were not what i expected - i.e were not pretty or scenic at all! far from it...

We generally enjoyed the stay at Hostal AB. It's really good value for the price. The only drawback is a noisy tavern right next door which is a bit annoying. The staff ranges from competent locals to pitiable trainees.
