Pr' tatko Backpackers Hostel is a little homely place one hour drive from Ljubljana (the capital) on the border of Triglav National Park.

This place had a lot of potential to be a lovely hostel. It's a beautiful building but needs a bit of TLC. Unfortunately when we arrived therer was nobody else staying there. It was in a complete mess and it was obvious nobody had cleaned for a few days. We were very disappointed. It was not as the leaflet and website described.

A great little place tucked away in a cute mountain hamlet...just be sure to bring some entertainment along with you since it's pretty quiet there.

Shame the owners were on holiday! The interim arrangement was not as welcoming as it could have been
lovely location....very helpful staff. only 15 min from kransjka gora. other skiing and snowboarding 5 min from podkoren where hostel is located. definately will return. :)

Really friendly, really nice hostel. Only disadvantage is that its about 2 km out of Kranjska Gora itself.
