Stuff there are very good guys.Quite friendly to talk with and they can speak quite a lot languages and quite interesting.The location is quite good,easy for visiting main spot in istanbul.But the breakfast always be the same...need to be chaged a little each day if possible.

Istanbul is a lovely city and nothing makes it more special than having friendly local folks to help you enjoy your stay. Apple hostel offers just that - friendly staff who would go out of their ways to help you feel happy and comfortable. This is what most other hostel in Istanbul lacks. I wouldn't hesitate staying in Apple Hostel again. It is really value for money. It it clean, full of characters and the people there, especially Mr Ismail make my holiday feel even more special.

I recommend this hostel. I stayed 3 nights in June 08 (male 6-dorm). Clean. You have to ask for the room key at the reception, so it is quite safe. Lockers in the lobby. Every bedroom has one bathroom. The staff was not very talkative; in contrast the other guests were. Free internet access, but one of three computers didn’t work. Nice view while having breakfast on the rooftop (Tomatoes, one egg, cucumber, feta cheese, bread, butter, marmalade and black tea).

nice enough rooms, beds are great, traps on the sinks so no mothballs would be nice. very clean and grreat staff.. especially Achmed(sic)?? on the roof!!!
The location is almost too good - you are right in the touristy area. But there s a reason why its tousity, being so close to Aga Sophia and the Blue Mosque. One thing I would say is that the bathrooms need a clean guys! The one in the 12 bed dorm anyway, as it got quite a workout. But the staff are absolutely fantastic - really very friendly and helpful. I would def go back there.
