Villa Marvalia was like home away from home. It was nice to arrive at such a friendly hostel and to know that no matter what we needed, Michael was willing to help us out. They even sent us on our way the last morning to catch our ferry with fresh homemade cookies! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice quiet hostel that feels like home!

The owner is extremely nice, he picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. He also showed us where the bus stop was, the beach, some good restaurants and organized a day trip for us to the volcano, hot springs and to the little island for lunch for only 20 euro! it was excellent. He also dropped us off at the port for our day drip. The room was very nice, had a fridge and two twin beds for my sister and I. We had a small balcony with a line to hang clothes.
