I am from Alberta and I've never stayed in a hostel in my ouwn country before this past weekend. I was in a 5-bed mixed dorm and got the neatest bed ever- at the top of a ladder, in a loft! And the view out into the mountains was beautiful. Kudos on the room set-up. As for the food, I was so impressed with my dinner of a stuffed portabello that I actually wrote about it in my journal and plan on making the same dish for friends in the near future. Was clean and a great location but no one wanted to talk in my room and the room was far too hot when sleeping on the top bunk. Could hardly sleep at all. If on bottom it would have been great i think.
