This is student accomodation that turns into a hostel over summer so there is no common room, kitchen etc. it should have been much cleaner considering we stayed there in the first week it was open but toilets and shower were dirty. aprox a 45 minuet walk to the old town.

When i stayed in the hostel it had just opened and i think it was all still a bit chaoatic. The staff didn't seem to know very much and the internet wasn't working. However i think this was just because it had opened. Getting picked up from the train station was great. They took us to the wrong dizzy daisy though, but the staff at the other one were sooo helpful. The room was nice, with a shared kitchen and bathroom with your next door neighbour. There's also a swimming pool right by the hostel which we used every night!

Well I can't bash this hostel because its not for me. Considering i'm 25 years old and the YOUNGEST person in there. Everyone was between 30-80 ..yes, 80 years old. Mostly family oriented couples on honey-moon-like adventures. The hostel is very clean, very small. The common room is also the kitchen / dining room so people are always cooking. Staff were helpful but not friendly per-se, kind-of unemotional, direct, robotic. They advertise 24 hour reception but if you come in after 2am you will be waking someone up to let you in. This is not the type of hostel i'm used to but could be if you don't mind the things described above. I chose this hostel strictly for the location. If you do go to bars/clubs this hostel is directly in the center thanks to extensive google earthing! Just dont plan on meeting anyone thats single/young.

A bit far from the city centre but there are buses / tramways. Staff not always friendly. One big bathroom for every two room. There is also a small dining area but as there are no dishes or cutlery you can't do any cooking. Parking available but not guarded.

The place easy to find. Nothing special inside but that could be because of the middle of the week.Typical academic place, clean and tidy. Good beer discount for Dizzy Daisy visitors in the nite club next door! Very helpful and friendly staff with a good advice for "where to go".
