Met some great people there! It's a house with some rooms to rent. No table to eat at, internet very unreliable, noisey.

honestly the worst hostel i have ever stayed in. i feel bad saying that as juliet is a lovely woman, but honestly its miles away, unless you have a car just dont bother. there was no-one else there when i stayed there, so it was boring as shit. its more of a house than a hostel, amenities are terrible, they dont actually have wifi they steal it from the neighbours. if u want a good time in san diego go stay in the gaslight district. if you want two days of utter boredom in the shittiest area in

u do need a lot of time to get away from there and come back. last bus departure from lemon grove train station is around 10.30 - so u can#t be out late. if u don't get the bus u'll need to walk one to two hours I guess staff is pretty much talking - often too much

Friendly staff and the pancake breakfast every morning definitely helped start the day. The hostel was clean, safe and fun but the distance meant that the place completely emptied out during the day and made getting too and from things a bit of a hassle.
