The hotel manager really tries his best, so lets put a few things in perspective, as the pro and cons of this place deserve to be discussed: 1) the stairs are much too narrow and steep, and theres too many of them to get to the upper floors, especially with big backpacks as we had...an accident could happen. Much of Hanoi is like this I guess. 2) The tours booking at the reception through fantasea adventures are a mixed bag. The one day tours to Halong Bay are not good value at all and we onl

Good location right by the lake. Nice staff as well. Might want to check travel arrangements and get full details as bus booked made an 8-hour stop at 6am in Hue, but we were not told. Otherwise nice place!

The hotel was really clear and quite than I expected. The location was not the busiest area in Old city but middlest and the most comfortable. I guess if you don't want noise and terrible traffic of Hanoi Old City Center, it would be a good choice.
