Great place although seems to be overun with Australian travellers (that might just be Hvar though?) No drinking at hostel after 11pm but there is Hvar town for that. Friendly staff. Rooms and facilities clean. Would stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay in Hvar and the hostel was a great place to meet lots of fun fellow travelers. The staff worked very hard to help the guests and keep the place clean.
A bit off the beaten track, the Green Lizard was a very good all-round hostel. My girlfriend and I had a private room and tended to do our own thing at night, but many guests in the hostel spent a lot of time together exploring Hvar and partying. For the price, my girlfriend and I would probably have been better off renting a room in someone's home (which are plentiful, at least when we travelled in mid-June), but the hostel did the trick and we were happy with it.
