big spacious rooms, relatively quiet, taking into account that it is situated at a very noisy Platz, showers/bathrooms many and very clean, only disgusting thing: the carpet all over the place, grey and yukkie. Nothing on the walls to hang a towel. Generell lack of charme and atmosphere. OK for one or two nights.

looks like its being redone but should be really awesome when its finished. only big negative is its right by a train stop and you can hear it all night

Stayed in the honeymoon suite, ideal for couples! Clean, friendly, close to bars and restaurants. Typical friendly hostel and would stay again if ever in Cologne. Good value, washing machine and kitchen facilities which is ideal for those of us on a tight budget.

Black Sheep Hostel was the cosiest hostel I've ever stayed in. Great staff, clean and a excellent common room. Cologne is worth a visit again just to stay here.
